In Episode 7 of The Case Against, Gary Meece draws upon the "Swirling Cauldron of Suspicion" in "Blood on Black" to present the evidence that the West Memphis police did not focus almost exclusively on Damien Echols as a suspect, and specifically citing some of the more memorable leads the police followed, including "Mr. Bojangles," "the tattooed man" and James K. Martin.

Damien 's Magick is working. All these celebrities saying THEY are guilty....but they are all drawn to Damien. All the fans are drawn to Damien. He said all this crazy stuff during the trial, was mean to the victim's families..acted like a punk who loves attention.everybody who saw the Documentary still totally emphasised with Him mainly.

By no means am I trying to take away the guilt of wm3. They did plead guilty. Just think they should have looked into Richard Cummings a little more.

Could it possibly have been that kents a d Cummings became acquainted with each other and kept in touch over the years? If lents had traveled a lot, especially to the south, maybe he made a trip to Arkansas to visit cummings? There is a statement from Richard's roommate stating that a black guy used to come around. Mr. Bojangles perhaps? All of the info I have read on the wm3 had me convinced of their guilt and still does in a sense. I'm also reminded that many times people who we would never expect in our communities would do such horrible things. Like Ted Bundy, Ariel Castro, Lewis Lents, etc. People who get away with this consistently, yet are outstanding citizens and have never actually been in trouble before. Lent was never a suspect in the 12 year old boys kidnap and death. Even though he worked at the mall where the child was kidnapped from.

After listening to this podcast, I decided to do some research into Richard Cummings. I referred to the documents in the Callahan 8k. I was surprised to see that he was from Norwich ny, my home town. He was recently convicted of 3rd degree sexual assault. I kept digging for more info on this guy as I can see why he could have been a possible suspect. He was kinda quite a pervert. But besides that he said he had just been in ny 2 or 3 years prior during the time James Bernardo was killed. Why the police of west Memphis and Ithaca dismissed this and had not yet had a suspect until 1994. Who was Lewis Lent. He pleaded guilty to kidnapping this child on his bicycle and Sara Ann woods riding on her bicycle. The wmpf said they saw no connection to this case, but it could be very possible. The body was left in tents home town of Ithaca. Crossing paths with someone from Norwich ny would not be coincidence un any way. Route 12 is one of the main routes to do so. It all connect to lents home town and Richard Cummings. They both grew up only an hour apart from each other. Lent also admitted guilt to killing a 16 year old boy and put his body in a lake. The police in ny believe he wasnt acting alone in these murders and there could be many more from Massachusetts down to florida.
